Dirt bikes and hunting

Flying down the road with the breeze on my face. 

While I was on holiday break, I was flying down the road and through the forest.

My friend came over and we were flying around on our dirt bikes.

We made a track in a forest and when it was lunch time we would go and get some lunch. After lunch we were straight back into riding. We did have to pull some trees out of the way but that was nothing. We would use the four wheeler for pulling trees. 

That was the first week of my holidays.

 

Bang, Bang! 

In the second week I went hunting.

When we went hunting we shot one stag. When we shot it, it landed on a barbed wire fence. We used the tractor to lift it off the fence. We got back from hunting at eleven o’clock at night. I went hunting with my friend that I was riding my dirt bike with. We went hunting at two different places. The first place that we went there were eight deer. At the second place we shot the stag. The stag was with six other deer. 

On one of the days of the holiday I walked up to the weather station. 

After walking up to the weather station my legs were very sore.

You can choose one new subject or sport to be taught at school. What do you choose and why?

 

I want to have a room that we can go and rage in. In the rage room we can smash old computers that don’t work anymore. We could go in and smash everything at morning tea and lunch. We could smash everything with a baseball bat. We would just have to be careful not to hit someone with the baseball bat. It would be very fun to use. I would go to the rage room every day. Everything would get reckt. I want a rage room at school because it would be cool.  

Summer learning journey

This week we have been doing summer learning journey. On it we were making our own kind of music. It was fun. I liked making music. I really wanted to play the music that I made really loud. We can play lots of different songs. We could change the what the music sounds like.

Science

Today Piwakawaka did some science. For science we got a jug of water and a hot water bottle. We also used the end of a water bottle. On the end of the water bottle there was a tube that went to the hot water bottle. The hot water bottle was put in the middle to peaces of wood. When we would hold the end of the water bottle up high the water would go into the hot water bottle. When we put the end of the water bottle closer to the ground the water in the hot water bottle would start to come out. Most of the class got to stand on the on the top peace of wood. When we would stand on the wood we would hold the end of the water bottle up high in the ear and the water would go into the hot water bottle and we would get taller. When we would put the end of the bottle down we would get shorter. We were learning all about hydraulics.

reader theatre

This week we did readers theatre. It is when you have a book and we have our own character. The character that we were acting would have it’s own part that we would have to read out. We did lots of practising then we would read it out in front of the class. The class had to find a buddy and they would have a peas of paper. Then they would judge one person that was in the group that was reading. There were heaps of different groups. I was in a group that was called how birds got their colours.

cybersmart

On Friday we did cybersmart. On our cybersmart we had to play a game of norts and crosses. We had to do it in a group of two. We also had to right a story. We did it in our drive. My buddy was Max A. One of us would share it with each other. I shared it with Max A. After I shared it with him we played the game of norts and crosses. After we played the game of norts and crosses we write our story. When we write the story we had to right one word each. I write the first word then Max A write the second word. Then we would just keep on doing that. The story that we wrote was about a man shooting a deer. I liked doing it.

Phonics

This week we have been learning about phonics. Phonics is when you learn about the sounds in words. I like doing it. We do it in our handwriting books. We do it in the mornings. We write the letters and we write a  sentence. The teacher will say the sentence and we will say it back then write it.
